Inspired by his best friend, Caleaf Jamaine Henson began his dance career in Broomall, PA at the age of fifteen with “Touch of Class” dance studio. Caleaf progressed in his dance career by training with PA Academy of Ballet as well as extending his training to the “Broadway Dance Center” in New York City. Caleaf has since become seasoned in his dance profession, entering into various stage/live performances such as So You Think You Can Dance on Fox TV, The Nutcracker, Tremaine Regional and National competitions, Touch of Class dance Recitals, OPUS1 Contemporary Company Showcase etc. The various performances have given Caleaf a set of special skills that include dancing styles such as Modern, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Tap, Contemporary and a plethora of other dancing styles. Caleaf’s skills have taken him to high places such as being a special guest performer for conventions like IMTA (International Modeling and Talent Associations) in both LA & NY, and also Miss Connecticut pageants. Caleaf also love to express his skills through teaching. He has had the opportunity to work with Longlake Camp for the Arts, being a dance instructor. Caleaf had to take on the challenges of setting full dance productions and musicals like Westside Story, Fame in a three week time period. Moving fast in his career Caleaf has been able to work with Studios in the Tri-state area and also been an assistant for Crystal Fraizer at University of The Arts.
