Miss Kathy hails from the Leigh Valley where she did ballet from ages 3-11 and Gymnastics 5-16. At the age of 8, she started competing gymnastics at the YWCA in Bethlehem. During her time there from 1980-1989, the team was Sectional and Regional Champions. Miss Kathy competed for Freedom High School, freshman through junior year, where they were District XI champions and State Runner-ups. Her senior year at FHS she traded in her leotard for a swimsuit and pom-poms so she could be on the diving team and cheerleading squad. She placed 6th in diving that year at Districts and helped the cheerleading squad place 2nd at the Keystone Games. Ms. Kathy went to West Chester University with the intent to be on the Diving Team, but tried out for cheerleading instead. She cheered for Women’s Basketball Spring 1993, Men’s Basketball 1994-1995 and Football 1993-1995. While at WCU, Miss Kathy earned her Degree in Elementary Education and has been working in the childcare field ever since. She is currently the Assistant Director at Nottingham Country Daycare where she loves to be silly with all of the age groups. Ms. Kathy and her husband, Jack, have lived in the Oxford area for 3 years. They are proud parents of twins; Cameron and Ellie, and a Beagle named Meg.
