Miss Kim has been studying dance for 19 years and hails from Aston, PA.  Most of her dance training (Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern and Pointe) has been from the Paul Klocke Studio of Dance.  During her training there she participated in the performing group and won the Edward Brake Memorial Award in 2002 for excellence in the field of classical ballet at the Performing Arts Alliance.  Miss Kim entered Point Park University, Pittsburgh, and with a 4.0 GPA received a BA in elementary education and graduated summa cum laude.  While in Pittsburgh, she was on the staff of Judy's School of Dance Arts and the Red Balloon Day Care, Carnegie, PA.  She presently teaches social studies and science to 6th grade advance placement students during the day at Avon Grove Charter School while continuing to teach dance at numerous dance schools in the area including here at OCD.
