Faculty Page

Robert ―”Mouse” Mitchell is a 24-year-old Philadelphia native. He grew up with a passion for dance and the hip hop culture. The self-taught dancer began at an early age mimicking the moves of dancers he would see all over, whether it be in the streets, in music videos, or on TV shows like Soul Train. He didn’t begin his actual dance career until later in life when he attended West Chester University (WCU) and eventually became the captain of their dance team. After graduating from WCU with a bachelor’s degree in communications, he then realized that he not only lived to dance, but also to create and teach. He choreographed routines that helped lead WCU’s Addictive Dance Company to three regional and two tri-state championships. After graduating, he auditioned and was selected to be a member of I AM Phresh Dance Co (formerly known as ―Phresh Select from MTV’s Americas Best Dance Crew Season 2). Mouse now travels around the country performing in shows, teaching workshops, and competing in national dance competitions. His love for dance will only continue to grow as he learns more and more every day.
