We are honored to have Mr. Val joining us at OCD.  He originally hails from the Ukraine where he attended the prestigious Kiev Ballet Academy in Kiev.  He graduated with Professional Honors and has since been able to tour internationally dancing in principal roles in many classical ballets as Bahchisarai Fountain, Swan Lake, Giselle, Francesca da Rimini, Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, Chopiniana (Les Sylphide), The Firebird, Cinderella, and many, many more.  Val is fluent in 3 languages, English, Russian and Ukrainian.  From 1982 to 1992 he was a principal dancer with the Donetsk Opera and Ballet Theatre in Donetsk, Ukraine; in 1992 to 1994 he danced with the Ballet Theatre of Pa. in Wilkes Barre, Pa.  Here in our area Mr. Val was principal dancer and ballet teacher for the Russian Ballet Theatre of Del. in Wilmington, DE and has won such awards as the Republican Ballet Competition (Bronze Medal) in Donetsk, Ukraine, has 3 Commendations form the Director and a Commendation from the Board of Chose Freeholders in Somerset County, NJ.  Welcome Val to our school.
