Ms. Jess has been studying the art of dance since the age of two. During that time she has trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, modern and character at the Oxford Center for Dance, Chester Valley Dance Academy, Steppin' Out Dance Academy, and Longwood Performing Arts. She performed for 10 years in the Oxford Center for Dance Nutcracker Ballet, dancing the lead roles of Clara, Soldier Doll, Candy Cane Lead, Marzipan Lead, Arabian Lead and Dew Drop Fairy. In addition, she has performed in the televised 4th of July parades and Thanksgiving Day parades in Philadelphia, and has danced in Tomorrowland in Walt Disney World.  Ms. Jess has been teaching at the Oxford Center for Dance since she was 14.  Ms. Jess graduated Magna Cum Laude from Alvernia College in 2007, with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary and Special Education.  Shortly after, Ms. Jess earned a certification in Middle School Mathematics and furthered her education at Cabrini University by earning her Masters in Education.  Ms. Jess has been in education since 2007 and starting teaching in PA schools since 2009.  Ms. Jess married her husband in May of 2011.  She currently lives in Oxford with her husband, son, daughter and two dogs.
