Leonid Goykhman, professional ballet dancer and teacher, was born in Chisinau, Moldova.
He completed his ballet training at the Academy of International Ballet under Bolshoi graduates Denis
Gronostayskiy and Anastasia Babayeva. Leo also received his Modern Dance education, as well as a BFA in dance education from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. He attended UArts on full director scholarship and graduated with honors. Leonid has performed as a principal dancer with First State Ballet Theatre and has also performed as a guest artist with various regional ballet companies nationwide.
